We have ourselves a mouse problem.
\nWith the feed we keep for the goats and chickens
\nand the fact this motel’s out in the middle of
\nnowhere surrounded by what seems to have been
\nfarm fields…<\/p>\n
The mice have found their way into every nook and
\ncranny of the motel.<\/p>\n
It was a small issue to begin with but, Lord Jesus.<\/p>\n
These mice are a little too healthy for my comfort.
\nBig and fat and they don’t seem as frightened of us
\nas they should be.<\/p>\n
I half expect one to stop running and just turn around
\nand have a little chat with me.<\/p>\n

I’m a city girl. But not a dirty “from the streets” city girl.<\/p>\n
I’m a high rise, riding elevators, obsessed with work
\nand going to networking parties kind of city girl.<\/p>\n
Robert’s rigged some kind of traps. And bait and will
\nget actual mouse traps the next trip out to get supplies.<\/p>\n
I’m not a religious woman but I hope and pray they
\nare not still here by then….<\/p>\n
