For now I’m still here. But, my mind is elsewhere. Traveling.
\nI know it’s not easy. I read the boards.<\/p>\n
And I’m certainly not prepared to leave alone in the cold.
\nThey need all the help they can get to take care of things
\naround here.<\/p>\n
I don’t think I could just up and leave Trina. There are a couple
\nother women here but it’s Trina and the girls I feel closest to.
\nShe reminds me of my sister. A sister I know, no longer exists.<\/p>\n
Preparing for winter is taking all our time. We have a sturdy
\nshelter in this motel but there are roof leaks and just things
\nwe need to secure as well as winterize.<\/p>\n
We all plan to sleep in less rooms in the winter. It’s such a
\nluxury for all of us to have our own rooms and beds. We are lucky
\nthat the number of people is less than the amount of beds.
\n(with the exception of the children whom don’t seem to mind
\nsharing beds mostly)<\/p>\n
We figure if we are all in smaller spaces. Together. Maybe
\nit will help keep the warmth in as well as keep people from
\ngetting winter blues and feeling lonely which can happen even
\nif you’re surrounded by people. But if you are busy AND surrounded
\nby people maybe we can keep it at bay.<\/p>\n
I am trying not to get too attached to everyone with the thoughts
\nof leaving when spring comes. But I think I’m already so attached.
\nJust the way it is, I suppose.<\/p>\n
