  1. Quarantine Camp: Reserved for visitors and prospective residents. Usual stay is 2 weeks. Amenities include private garden and well, large bunk house and security tower.<\/li>\n
  2. Recycling Plant: Operated daily, uses solar and bio fuel<\/li>\n
  3. Main Community Area featuring Meeting Hall \/ Meal Distribution Station, Medical Office, General Store, and Security Defense Headquarters.<\/li>\n
  4. Workshops: Machine, Carpentry and Food Preparation<\/li>\n
  5. Single Family Homes: Smaller dwellings for families<\/li>\n
  6. Dorm: Women’s Dorm is shown in pink. Blue building at top of map is Men’s Dorm.<\/li>\n
  7. Solar Farm: One acre of solar panels used for energy<\/li>\n
  8. Evacuation Islands: Small islands within two miles of the coast maintained and ready for any emergency evacuation purposes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Community<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Members of this colony are expected to all partake in equal work with equal rewards. Upon entering colony for residence, all members must sign up for 2 jobs and will be assigned work shifts according to need. Women with small children in need of supervision and the elderly are not required to work manual labor but may be asked to do other tasks such as food preparation, clothing repair, or administrative duties. Manual Labor Jobs include fishing, carpentry, food preparation and farming. All able bodied citizens are\u00a0trained in use of the recycling facility and work in a rotation of once every two weeks. Other work days are staggered with 4 days on, 2 days off.<\/p>\n

      Travel to and from the colony is not restricted except for the mandatory stay in the quarantine yard for 1 – 2 weeks upon returning.<\/p>\n

            • 4 Mile “Burn Zone” around perimeter to deter travelers and enemies who do not know if its existence.<\/li>\n
            • Triple layer fencing around perimeter<\/li>\n
            • Three emergency escape routes (Northern, Southeast, Oceanic)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              \nHistory and Interesting Facts<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

                \n
              • Oldest known colony started in 2011 by Thomas Black. Thomas passed away two years ago due to natural causes.<\/li>\n
              • First colony to use the “Burn Zone” as a defensive measure<\/li>\n
              • Only colony to use recycling and has lowest waste level out of all reporting colonies<\/li>\n
              • Only 4 deaths in 3 years. Only one infection kept in quarantine and did not spread.<\/li>\n
              • No zombie attacks in 2 years.<\/li>\n
              • No enemy disturbances in 1.5 years<\/li>\n
              • Large colony with low conflict and crime. One prisoner exiled in 2012.<\/li>\n
