Amenities include private garden and well, large bunk house and security tower.<\/li>\n<li>Recycling Plant: Operated daily, uses solar and bio fuel<\/li>\n<li>Main Community Area featuring Meeting Hall \/ Meal Distribution Station, Medical Office, General Store, and Security Defense Headquarters.<\/li>\n<li>Workshops: Machine, Carpentry and Food Preparation<\/li>\n<li>Single Family Homes: Smaller dwellings for families<\/li>\n<li>Dorm: Women&#8217;s Dorm is shown in pink. Upon entering colony for residence, all members must sign up for 2 jobs and will be assigned work shifts according to need. Women with small children in need of supervision and the elderly are not required to work manual labor but may be asked to do other tasks such as food preparation, clothing repair, or administrative duties. Manual Labor Jobs include fishing, carpentry, food preparation and farming. All able bodied citizens are\u00a0trained in use of the recycling facility and work in a rotation of once every two weeks. Other work days are staggered with 4 days on, 2 days off.<\/p>\n<p>Travel to and from the colony is not restricted except for the mandatory stay in the quarantine yard for 1 &#8211; 2 weeks upon returning.<\/p>\n<p>There are regular community events:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily Meals (with option to take rations to eat separately)<\/li>\n<li>Weekly church services offered<\/li>\n<li>Weekly Conflict Hearings (For rule infractions and discipline)<\/li>\n<li>Monthly Community Meetings (for announcements and votes on issues that are discussed. General store usually stocked with basics.<\/p>\n<p>Primary Items traded by Geneva Bay:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dried Fish<\/li>\n<li>Wooden Goods (Furniture, construction material)<\/li>\n<li>Recycled plastic, aluminum and paper items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Defense and Security<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Volunteer Peace Keepers: 25<\/p>\n<p>SCION Special Forces: 20 &#8211; 30 Rotating with a patrol that can respond within 3 days<\/p>\n<p>Other:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 Mile &#8220;Burn Zone&#8221; around perimeter to deter travelers and enemies who do not know if its existence.<\/li>\n<li>Triple layer fencing around perimeter<\/li>\n<li>Three emergency escape routes (Northern, Southeast, Oceanic)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><br \/>\nHistory and Interesting Facts<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oldest known colony started in 2011 by Thomas Black. Thomas passed away two years ago due to natural causes.<\/li>\n<li>First colony to use the &#8220;Burn Zone&#8221; as a defensive measure<\/li>\n<li>Only colony to use recycling and has lowest waste level out of all reporting colonies<\/li>\n<li>Only 4 deaths in 3 years. Only one infection kept in quarantine and did not spread.<\/li>\n<li>No zombie attacks in 2 years.<\/li>\n<li>No enemy disturbances in 1.5 years<\/li>\n<li>Large colony with low conflict and crime.
