How to Register

Use this guide to help you with the registration process!

  • Check out the Site!
    • This is the first step! Click on the links, read the posts and articles, check out the art and videos! If you have questions, feel free to send a message to as well. This place has a lot to offer and many different ways to enjoy the content, so take your time and get to know the place.
  • Read the Visitor Information Pages
    • These are the pages listed on the left under Visitor Information. There is a lot to digest but don’t get overwhelmed. You can always come back and read things again or ask questions if you need clarification.
  • Select your membership
    • When you get to this step you should know what sort of interaction you want to try out when you register. You’ll need to know which when you sign up so that you can get the proper access and privileges on the site. If you still can’t pick one when you sign up, you will be asked to confirm what registration you would like when your account is approved. Remember, you can always change your membership if you decide you want to try something else.
  • Register on the Forum!
    • You will find the link to the registration at the top left of the screen where you are asked to sign in.This is where you sign up on the forum, agree to registration terms, and get your account approved. (*Note* You must use a valid email for your account.) Remember, each submission for an account is reviewed by a live person, so it may take up to a few hours to process. If you haven’t received a confirmation of your account within 24 hours, feel free to contact and things will get taken care of quickly. Approval of your account will open up every area of the forum for you to view and enjoy. The next few steps are important in giving you more posting privileges and creative material with which to write.
  • Fill out the Character Creation Form
    • Once your account is approved, you will receive an email and a private message detailing the next steps you should take. ¬†Based on the type of membership you select, you may be asked to fill out a Character Creation Form. This form will allow you to explore more aspects of the survivor you are creating and develop story telling potential. This should be completed as soon as possible. Once you have done this, you will gain more access to posting on the forum.
  • Read the¬†Guidelines for posting
    • As you begin to post, it is a good idea to read our tips for posting. These messages will give you helpful ideas on how to get the most out of the site, set the boundaries for your posting so that you know what is acceptable, and basically make things easier. The more information you have, the better!
  • Post your first message!
    • Your account has been approved and you are ready to post! The first place you should visit is our Introduction Topic. Here you can give some basic information on your character and get a feel for writing. You are sure to get welcomed by our long time members and they will be happy to see you are here. It is good to post here first so that people are aware you have joined and can look out for your upcoming topics.
  • Choose your character classes
    • This is a step you can take within the first few weeks after you begin your survivors story. You will find all the information you need here. You can then read through each of the classes and make your selection using this form. You can change your class selection at any time except for in the middle of any type of rpg adventure or live chat.
  • Fill out the profile creation form
    • This is something you will have access to once you have posted on the forum at least four times in one month. You will receive a message giving you information on what you need to do. Your new profile will be featured on our characters page and will make you eligible for other rewards like Character of the Month and being featured as Main Character. If you submit a profile creation form before you are qualified, it will be held until you have met the requirements. Once you have a profile ready to view, you will get a private message.
  • Write, Read, Have Fun!
    • The most important step in this process is to have an entertaining experience. There are so many different ways to tell your story and an endless amount of stories you can share. From the most joyful of times to the devastating darkest of tragedies, it is all up to you what you want to write about. If you’ve chosen to join in our structured or traditional rpg, the freedom is still there. You are the driving force behind every part of a story and that means you are always vital and important! If you choose to be an observer, we hope that you are able to enjoy everything that is written and contribute whenever you want on our Wilderness Forum.

Humanity Scar was created for it’s members, and that is you! None of this would be possible without your support and contributions. All of the staff and volunteers at Humanity Scar thank you and look forward to reading your posts, enjoying your story, and surviving with you!
